Statement 

Hello my name is Torey and I am very passionate animation and telling stories with strong characters. I would love to offer my skills towards the development of television and film all while collaborating with other creative people in an artistic environment

 

Experience 

2014 Studio Course – Stoopid Buddy Studios

Puppet fabrication class taken at Stoopid Buddy Studios where I learned how to make a build up style puppet to completion, from armature to costume.

2015 A Boy and His Beast - Master Class Film 

LCAD 2015 summer master class stop motion animation project with Stephen Chiodo which I was Co- Head Puppet fabricator. I was in charge of making every puppet armature. I also built up some of puppets, cast silicone hands, sewed costumes and helped other students make puppets with the techniques I learned at Stoopid Buddy Studios.

Art Skills

• Building wire armatures with tie downs and flying rig holes

• Building up puppets with foam, latex skin, replacement parts , fabricated hair, flock ect.

• Hand and machine sewing skills, draping and cutting costume patterns, sewing costumes with wire for animating, and dressing/assembling puppets.

• Figure sculpting, character sculpting, miniature prop making, ceramics

• Sketching, Drawing, and Painting with traditional 2d mediums and Digital medium
