Torey Bangi

Hey there, my name is Torey Bangi. I graduated from Laguna College of Art and Design with a BFA in Animation and a focus in stop motion animation. I have had a love for animated films ever since i first realized they were created by people not just appearing out of thin air. I really enjoy creating things with my hands and exploring different art mediums both traditional and experimental.

I grew up in and currently reside in central California. As a child I occupied my time watching cartoons and copying the characters on lined paper. Drawing turned to sculpting and from there i gravitated towards any art form I could learn about. I always took the elective creative classes my schools offered. I participated in everything from drawing to crocheting to wood cutting class electives. Through stop motion animation I have found ways to use the multiple art forms i have learned throughout the years and focus all my knowledge into one cohesive project. I hope to use my skills to aid in Film and television animation.
